After being an English teacher, I think, to be a good English teacher, you should know your major well. Your personality is as important as your knowledge.
A good English teacher must be enthusiastic. You must love your students and respect them. In addition, You must also respect yourself and take pride in your work. A good English teacher should be kind, encouraging, and helpful and you should motivate your students to seek knowledge.
I'll tell you a true story, last year, a boy named LiuLei came to our class, he looked so quiet, no age children's lively and cheerful, he didn't dare to answer the question loudly, when I asked him to do the dialogue in front, he even had a big cry . His mother was pleased to tell me her child progressed . every time，after school he always chatter without stopping told her that what he learned in Zhongxin , and the performance is greatly improved, as his teacher was really excited for his progress, I realized the unprecedented ：

Good morning ,teachers and students. My name is fuxian from songzhuang primary school. the name of my speech is << my simple teaching life>> is my greatest honor to be here today. I would like to share my English learning and teaching experience with you .
I studied english educashion at my college. I chose this major just because its tuition was not high at that time. Then half a year before my graduation i came to shandong to be an english teacher. Far away from my hometown. Then i have lived here for 7 years and taught for 7 years too. I love teaching. I love talking to my students.
How do I enjoy myself with my students? I don’t think I can express how I love my students in a few words. I just know, they are the future of China; they are infinity in my hand. What could I do with them? To wait, to be patient, to expect and to love. From them, every teacher must see their future, teaching and guiding them responsibly.
And then, as teachers, not only do we need to be friendly to them, but also all the time we have to be ready for helping them. Once two girls in my class went out for wandering from home without telling anyone else including their patents. In fact, they just wanted to escape from the family, which was full of quarreling. It’s not hard to imagine how worried their parents were! But they had no way to communicate with them, nor find them. As class teacher, there was no time. I decided quickly to help the holpless parents. And I tried to contact with their classmates to make sure what they had talked about the going before. Then I spent the whole night in looking for them with their parents in the city. After a long time searching, we found the girls . When they saw me, their class teacher, they cried loudly and sadly. Everything was OK after they told me their complaints to parents. At that time, I knew, sometimes, the teacher was the very bridge between parents and their children. How important, how great to be a teacher is!
To me, my students are just like the wild flowers. Can we see a World or Heaven in them? The answer is definitely Yes. If you want to enjoy yourself while teaching, respect and love your students as their friends; work hard with full responsibility.
So, what is responsibility? From my point of view, responsibility is accepting what you are facing -- and not complaining your students. Responsibility is holding your students' hands and reminding them to watch both ways before crossing their road. When there is something difficult in front of students, responsibility is helping them over them. When your students are in a trouble, responsibility is being there on time to help and guide them -- even if that means you will miss your favorite things.
Because I love my students, then I enjoy myself with full is why I together with you,try our best to be an excellent English teacher today!

回顾自己这四年来在教学中的点点滴滴，感觉有的只是自己尽职尽责的工作态度，严格而灵活的教学方法。总之一句话，要想取得好成绩，就是“种瓜得瓜，种豆得豆”，成绩和平时心血的付出是成正比的。教学工作包含的内容太广泛，以下是自己在教学实践中的一些做法和感悟，有不当之处，请各位多批评指正。
一、建立良好的师生关系，做一名学生喜欢的老师
教学中，我感受最深的是，学生在成长过程中，需要知识，更需要关爱，关爱是一份情感，也是一份责任，作为老师，除了要有精湛的业务、敬业的精神、全面的知识，更重要的是在传道授业解惑时，做到爱生如子。人与人之间的感情是相互的，学生虽小，但他们都有着一颗敏感而真诚的心，只要你真心关爱他们，他们一定会有令你惊喜的回报。“亲其师而信其道”，只有让学生喜欢你，他们才会信任你，向着你引导的方向发展。
多年来，我学会激励自卑的学生，点拨后进的学生，暗示自负的学生，发现特殊的学生，服务每一个学生，关爱所有的学生，用心去与学生交流，用爱去抚慰心灵，构建师生平等，关系和谐，共同进步的求知家园。
二、狠抓课堂教学，构建“和谐高效、思维对话”型课堂
现在正处于应试教育向素质教育转轨时期，既要求减轻负担，又要求提高教育质量，这就要求必须在课堂上下功夫，提高课堂效率，我通常注重以下几个方面：
1、认真备课。
大家都知道，备好课是上好课的前提，备课包括三方面，备教材、备学生、备教法。备教材。我总是提前翻阅各种材料、教师用书、学习资料及以往的相应试题，对于哪些是重点难点，哪些知识点扩展到什么程度，会以什么形式出题，做到心中有数。备学生，就是要了解学生的年龄特点、接受能力、知识储备情况，这样可以避免起点太高，学生听不懂，或起点太低，学生感到无聊的情况。备教法。每一级每个班学生特点各不相同，所以我非常注重仔细研究学生，采取适合学生的方法导入新课，用学生易于掌握的方法讲解新知，用学生感兴趣的方法组织课堂活动。
2、用激情带动学生，焕发课堂活力。
我要求自己在备好课的基础上，每节课都满怀热情地走进教室，哪怕身体不适、满心烦恼，在站上讲台，面向学生的那一刻，我都会面带笑容，精神抖擞，讲课时也是充满激情，抑扬顿挫。因为快乐的情绪可以传染，如果你把快乐的情绪、积极地心态传染给学生，他的学习效率可能会成倍增长。
3、关注每个学生，提高课堂凝聚力。
讲课时，我的视线遍布每个角落，始终用眼光爱抚每个学生，学生的每个动作和眼神都逃不过我的眼睛，并且与学生进行眼神的交流，久而久之，每个学生都会感到老师一直在关注我，从而使他们集中注意力，认真听讲。
4 、精讲多练，提高课堂效率。
国中生的注意力集中时间只能持续十五到二十分钟。如果仍然是“一张嘴，一支笔，从课首讲到课尾。”的教学模式，就会出现“老师讲得天花乱坠，学生听得昏昏欲睡”的现象。新课程理念要求我们重视学生在课堂上的主体地位，少讲多练。少讲并不意味着粗略讲解，一带而过。国中生的接受能力还是有限，对于重难点的知识，我会根据学生特点细致的讲解，多举例，多操练，讲一点，练一点，讲练结合，让大多数学生都能跟上，参与活动。讲得太粗太快，学生跟不上，学不会，久而久之，就会慢慢失去学习兴趣。俗话说“庄稼齐了才打粮”，只照顾尖子生，不符合素质教育的理念。一定要面向全体学生，才会取得好成绩。

下面把我平时在教学中的体会和特别注重的几点做法向大家做一汇报，有不当之处，请批评指正。
一、 抓好课堂教学设计。
课堂是学生汲取知识最重要的阵地，学生是学习的主人翁，兴趣是学生学习的重要动力。
㈠新授课的教学设计
在新授课的教学过程的设计中，必须以学生为中心，活动的设计要适合学生的特点，让学习的过程充满快乐，培养兴趣，培养成就感，培养自信心。尤其小组活动，其目的在于让每个学生都有机会展示自我。因为在进行小组练习时，学生不会胆怯，不会有任何思想顾虑，并且学生的小组分组也是好中差搭配开来，他们可以互相纠正，共同进步。当他们站起来回答时，由于有了充分的准备，错误率较小。而且在学生进行小组活动时，老师应该走到学生中去，尽量兼顾到每个小组，看看是否有问题，把他们容易出错的地方计下来，全班一块纠正。随后有针对性的叫几组同学到讲台前表演，不同程度的给予鼓励。这样做，可以增强学生的自信心和成就感，渐渐就培养了学生学习的兴趣，也有助于建立良好的师生关系，对英语的教和学都有很大的帮助。
㈡练习课的教学设计
练习课是以练为主，通过练习使学生尽快掌握所学的知识点，通过单元检测及时发现问题，查漏补缺。一般来说，除了第一节课以外，每一课教师所要进行教学的内容不外乎三个部分：①复习已教过的语言材料;②强调已学的语言项目如词汇、语音、语法和句型等;③进行各种形式的听、说、读、写训练活动。为此，一般采用“五步教学法”;即：复习、精讲、操练、练习、巩固。在每一个步骤当中，教师的作用都有所不同，如采用口、笔头练习、测试、听写、提问等复习方式;利用实物、图片、借助动作、猜迷、接龙式提问、简笔画等复习已学的语言项目;通过分排或分行、两人、小组等进行操练;通过做游戏、扮演角色等方式提高运用语言能力;充分利用和“复习要点”，练习册中的练习，口、笔头练习等加强学习运用的能力，以加深印象，巩固记忆。教师要在教学中自始至终观察全班学生的反应，要随时根据情况变换自己的角色，保证所教的内容大家都能接受，达到完成课堂的整体教学任务。
㈢复习备考课的教学设计 复习备考课是以精讲和检测为主，通过精讲和检测使学生对所学知识、技能、技巧和 能力的真实和综合应用程度。为了达到这个目的、教师应对测试提出具体的知识、技能、技巧和能力各方面的 要求。
知识方面，要求学生全面地、系统地掌握该单元的基础知识，尤其是课本中的“四会”内容。技能方面。 要求学生运用所学语言、词汇、语法知识在听、说、读、写方面体现出来。技巧方面，要求学生在技能基础上 ，循环往复，达到对技能的熟练掌握，使技能的运用自动化。能力方面，要求学生在知识、技能和技巧的基础 上，要有综合能力，即能把三者结合起来，为交际初步运用英语。 要做好复习备考检测，就要求教师必须努力、钻研教材，吃透教材，依据《大纲》，明确知识、语言范围。注 意传授知识的深度和广度。要让学生知道每个单元的教学重点，并准确地讲解和反复地操练。教师要精心设计 或选用检测试题。试题要力求符合《大纲》和教材的要求。既要全面，又要突出重点，难易要适中，能够较全 面地检测学生听、说、读、写能力和初步运用英语的交际能力。要做好检测后的讲评工作。 二、 课后作业的布置。
课后作业必须根据本课讲授内容的重难点来设计，一定要有针对性。而且是反复做，尤其是在学生容易出错的地方。因为我代的都是差班，所以只让他们练一些最基本的句型和课文中的句子，一定要抓好基础知识的练习和巩固。为了避免他们的厌烦情绪，同样类型的题要间隔做，加深印象。这样他们做题的准确率就会不断上升，自信心也随之大增。
